Glass is a uniquely attractive and highly functional material that allows endless interior design applications to suit any taste.

Partitioning

Glass walls offer not only a more effective use of natural sunlight, airiness and transparency but also versatile solutions for space partitioning. A working area or a dining area can be easily and effortlessly integrated in an open space, using a fixed glass wall (with or without a door) or a movable glass wall, available only when needed.

Design

With an extensive range of glass available, glass walls can be used to create extremely attractive visual effects. For clear lines and full-view transparency, we can use ultra clear, low iron glass combined with coloured glass to create a bright atmosphere. For bath or dressing partitioning systems, we can use sandblasted glass, coloured glass in any shade to RAL reference or laminated glass. For sophisticated designs, we can use coated or digitally printed glass with images, landscapes, different textures or company names.

Fixing Systems

Glass walls are made of 8-10 mm thick toughened (tempered) glass with a wide range of frameworks and fixing systems to create various partitioning structures, with integrated swing or sliding doors. For an improved acoustic performance, we can use double glazed glass walls, with two 6-8 mm thick glass sheets. Moreover, integrated blinds can be sealed between two sheets of glass for reduced visibility.

Movable glass walls such as HSW or MOVEO are extremely versatile: they can be partially or fully closed, allowing both easy access and instant privacy with enhanced acoustic performance.

Movable Glass Walls

Movable glass wall systems represent an intelligent solution for easy access and high functionality with partial or full closing. Thus, you can benefit both from open areas for meetings or receptions and from an effortlessly efficient partitioning of the space into small areas with full transparency or instant privacy, and higher sound insulation, according to your needs.

Movable glass walls can be used in various applications: shops and retail areas, hotels, cafes, office areas, but also for residential areas, the systems being extremely easy to operate. Glass wall systems can integrate glass doors, allowing easy access, even when the glass wall is fully closed.

Size

Transparent Design can manufacture custom sized glass doors and partitioning walls, adjusting to each project requirement. The glass panels are custom made in our glass manufacture according to on-site measurements.

Types of Glass

Transparent Design recommends the use of laminated and toughened glass for ‘CUBICLE’ walls, this type of glass being extremely safe and resistant, it is especially suitable for glass walls in public areas.

You can choose from a wide variety of colours and finishes:

• Painted glass, in any colour to RAL reference
• Chemically sandblasted glass
• Laminated glass with matte/ white interlayer
• Coated glass with pattern/ digitally printed
